The Conscious is an abstract and stylized sculpture that gestures toward the layered terrain of the human psyche through the absence of a face, through the stillness of form and through the material tension it holds.
Composed of a hybrid concrete metal dust mixture and elevated on a solid metal base, the work embodies the friction between weight and weightlessness, rawness and refinement. This material duality deepens the conceptual resonance: a consciousness suspended between structure and dissolution.
The lack of facial features is not emptiness but invitation an open space for projection, reflection and confrontation. In its restraint, the figure becomes a vessel for all that remains unspoken.
The Conscious is not a portrait. It is a mirror turned inward where identity is not defined but discovered.
