Ahmet OZBEY’s sculptures do not merely engage with material. They converse with time, memory, and intuition. His artistic journey traces a path from the warm stones of Adana to the intellectual depths of Istanbul, refined further through the modernist language of the Netherlands.

Educated at Sint Joost Academy, OZBEY’s atelier in Rotterdam marked the first intersection of form and thought. In the years that followed across studios in Adana and now Bodrum. He established a quiet tension between the weight of bronze and the fragility of ceramic. His abstract forms are built not on volume, but on rhythm, circularity and internal motion.

Özbey’s work does not aim to represent. It invites perception. These are sculptures that speak through curvature, echo through absence and are not grasped at once but gradually felt.

They do not demand attention; they unfold into awareness.

At Get Society × Get SoArt, we do not see OZBEY’s sculptures as representations. We enter them as sculpted meditations. Where form becomes memory, void becomes presence, and each curve unfolds a silent dialogue between material and meaning.
